Nick Bertozzi interview

October 20, 2009

I love Nick Bertozzi’s work. His graphic novel “The Salon” was this strange historical-fantasy about Left bank Paris and the birth of cubism that centered around Pablo Picasso, Gertrude Stein and others. As part of Act-i-vate he’s created a lot of different webcomics, Persimmon Cup being the best known, but my favorite would have to be piece his piece on the Shackleton expedition. His new book is a departure, Stuffed!, which he didn’t write, has a very different style and approach, and it just proves what many of us thought, which is that Bertozzi can do just about anything.
